Expectations and Requirements for Contributing Blog Posts

If you have a Standard or Premium membership with Raleigh ProConnect, you have the opportunity to write blog posts that showcase your expertise and attract more customers. To maintain the quality and value of our blog, we have a few writing guidelines that all contributors must follow.

By submitting a post, you agree to these guidelines. If your content doesn’t meet our standards, we may request revisions or choose not to publish it. We’ll always communicate any concerns and give you a chance to make improvements.

If you’re already signed up and ready to submit your first blog post, head to your account page and click the Submit a Blog Post button.

Content Requirements

Minimum Length: All blog posts must be at least 800 words to provide valuable, in-depth information.

Originality: All submissions must be unique and not published elsewhere. Plagiarism or AI-generated content without human oversight is strictly prohibited.

Value-Driven: Your content should align with the interests of Raleigh homeowners and local businesses, covering topics such as home improvement, maintenance tips, local events, and industry insights. Avoid sales pitches—your expertise will naturally attract customers!

Clarity & Readability: Use clear, easy to understand language. Organize content with clear headings, subheadings, bullet points, and paragraphs for an easy reading experience.

Visuals: Incorporate high-quality, royalty-free images or graphics that complement the content. Ensure all visuals are properly credited.

Membership Benefits

Standard Members

Entitled to publish up to 5 blog posts per year, each including one internal link back to your business page with an author profile that also links to your business page.

Premium Members

Enjoy unlimited blog posts, each including an internal link back to your business page and a link back to your business website for added SEO benefits.

Want to Publish More Blog Posts?

If you’ve reached your Standard membership limit or want to submit a post without a membership, you can purchase additional blog posts at the following rates:

  • Standard Members: $20 per additional post after 5 posts/year.
  • Non-Members: $50 per post.

To purchase extra blog posts or to write for us without a membership, email us at business@raleighproconnect.com with “Blog Post Request” in the subject line.

Important Considerations

  1. Editorial Rights: Raleigh ProConnect reserves the right to edit, revise, or decline content that does not meet our guidelines or align with our audience’s interests.
  2. Communication: If revisions are necessary, our team will provide constructive feedback to help you adjust your submission accordingly.
  3. Exclusivity: Submitted content should not be published elsewhere. Once live on our site, we request that you do not republish the article in its entirety on other platforms.
